Hope Production was created in 2011 from the encounter between director Yann Arthus Bertrand and producer Jean-Yves Robin.
Since its creation, we have been producing ambitious documentaries, with strong content and unique aesthetic. These are committed films, devoted exclusively to major environmental and humanist issues.
Our films have often made a strong impression and left their mark on the French and international audiovisual landscape. For example: PLANET OCEAN (2012), TERRA (2015), LEGACY (2021) and, more recently, VIBRANT (2023). Not forgetting HUMAN (2015) and WOMAN (2020), which paint a moving portrait of humanity, through the testimonies of men and women from all over the world.
Today, we continue on our path with the same desire to tell the story of the world around us and to raise awareness about vital issues affecting our planet.
YANN ARTHUS-BERTRAND
Yann Arthus-Bertrand is a French photographer, reporter, film-maker and environmental activist. He chairs the GoodPlanet Foundation. He currently directs and produces films for Hope Production.
His book La Terre vue du ciel (The Earth from Above), first published in 1999 and followed by a documentary of the same name in 2004, is a worldwide bestseller. He made a name for himself with his film Home, released in 2009 to mark World Environment Day, in 181 countries simultaneously.
